I woke up again with the last scene imprinted in my mind.
She died, once again. This time not on that sulking bed, but in my arms. Her whispers and whimpers sounded clearer than ever before. Then the weight kicked in.
It had never been this calm in my mind. No noise, no emotion, no logic. Stillness is in motion as if the realm had come to be frozen.
Her last words eventually emerged gradually and repeatedly:
"The world never quits on you... You are the one who chooses to quit on the world."
This time I really woke up.
